Welcome Tina Mueller, the new Hawaii 4-H Military Program Coordinator!
Tina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, boasting an impressive 20+ years of experience in the realms of education, training, curriculum development, photography, and social media. Her journey began with a solid foundation, having earned a degree in Geology from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
Born into a family with deep military roots, Tina’s parents were both United States Marines who dedicated 30+ years of their lives to service. Her mother, a Master Gunnery Sergeant, and her father, a Sergeant Major, served their country with honor and distinction. Her father’s legacy included serving in World War II, the Korean War, and three tours in Vietnam—an extraordinary commitment to defending freedom.
Tina’s roots run deep in Kaneohe, where she was raised by her Marine parents. The Windward side of the island will always be home in her heart. In her leisure time, she finds the beach a place of rest and refreshment, the exhilaration of hiking, the artistry of cooking, and the sense of purpose she derives from serving her community through her church.
